Experts from each category will give lectures on how to enjoy marine leisure through a wide variety of ways. This year, the seminars will be held at the Pacifico venue (online participation possible). There’ll be 20 lectures loaded with the know-how for enjoying marine life to the fullest.

During the physical boat show event period, cruises will be run between the Pacifico Yokohama venue (Pukari Pier) and Yokohama Bayside Marina. On this 45-minute cruise, you’ll get to see Yokohama Port, Yokohama Bay Bridge, Honmoku Pier and Tsurumi Bay. This cruise includs one drink ticket.

Taiyo Sugiura Special Prize Presentation Ceremony and Live Talk Session

The Best Family Boat Owner Award presentation ceremony and talk session will be held on March 31st on the main stage. Award-winner Taiyo Sugiura will share the fun and difficulties of DIY, family memories of marine leisure, thoughts about his favorite boat Taiyo Maru and his feelings for the sea he holds dear in this special online boat show. Jiro Shinbo Live Talk Session

‘Jiro’s Journey’ shared by Jiro Shinbo, who achieved a solo crossing of the Pacific Ocean on a sailing cruiser. He will share with marine fans the charms and hardships of open sea sailing and the splendor of the sea beyond what can be covered easily on You Tube.

Japan Boat of the Year 2021 Award Ceremony

The announcement and award ceremony of the Japan Boat of the Year 2021 will be held on March 31st for the boats selected as the most excellent of the year among motorboats sold in Japan (including PWC - hereinafter referred to as boats). This will be held on the main stage.

"Future generations, let's enjoy the sea in style!"

An exciting talk stage by members of L-Project, formed by four women who are active in the marine field. They will also share stylish apparel brands that can be worn out at sea and items recommended for fishing and the outdoors.

Chiyo Tia LIVE ~ Island Breeze ~
The natural sounds of "ChiyoTia", born in Japan and raised in Hawaii, will evoke an emotional sensitivity through the power of poetry, with a world view that makes you feel the islands and the seas. As we share with you these charms on the Pacifico Yokohama Event Stage, we hope to make this a time for marine fans to really feel the sea.

Used Boat Fair 2022

Organizer: Japan Used Boat Association (JUBA) The Used Boat Fair 2022 will feature an array of high-quality used motorboats, sailboats and PWCs displayed at the designated display space of Pacifico Yokohama by members of the Japan Used Boat Association.

Boating License Renewal/Replacement Course

Organizer: Japan Marine Recreation Association
During the Boat Show, a course will be held at Pacifico Yokohama on April 2nd and 3rd for people wishing to renew their boat operator license or replace an expired one. For more details and how to apply, please see the JEIS website (in Japanese)

TPSP Seminar

The TPSP (Tokyo Pwc Safety Project) holds safety seminars for personal watercraft users in order to prepare them for safe navigation in the Tokyo Harbor, Bay and rivers, and to ensure the observance of rules and manners. In addition, a certificate of completion is given to those who have attended the safety seminar, agree with the purposes, and have pledged to strive for safe use of personal watercraft and observance of the rules and manners as a TPSP member. This time, we will hold a TPSP seminar at the boat show venue and hope you can join us.

Sailing Ship ‘Miraie’ Public Viewing and Boarding Experience (paid activity)

A boarding experience will be offered at the Pukari Pier adjacent to Pacifico Yokohama for the sailing ship ‘Miraie’.
The sailing ship ‘Miraie’, which was active as the passenger ship ‘Akogare’, will have a viewing and paid boarding experience at the Pukari Pier adjacent to Pacifico Yokohama.
The sailing ship ‘Miraie’ is the only sailing ship in Japan that can be boarded by the general public. Originally, voyages by this ship were done for the purposes of developing human resources in natural and cross-cultural environments, but this time we will share the charms of sailing ships through a 90-minute cruise in the port, with sail training included.
